Is there any evidence in Qur’an or Hadith which states that there were 124,000 Prophets /Messengers of Islam? if yes please let me get to know the level of hadith? reference of hadith?
کیا قرآن و حدیث میں ایسا کوئی ثبوت ہے کہ ایک لاکھ چوبیس ہزار پیغمبر آئے ہیں۔ حدیث کا درجہ اور حدیث کا حوالہ بھی دیں۔

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَمْ وَفَّى عِدَّةُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ قَالَ مِائَةُ أَلْفٍ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ أَلْفًا الرُّسُلُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثُ مِائَةٍ وَخَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ جَمًّا غَفِيرًا‏.‏
is it hadith? what level of hadith in terms of sanad and maaton?

The answer to your question is as follows:

The above mentioned hadith is reported by Imam Ahmad (Hadith No. 22342) and Imam Tabrani (Hadith No. 7871). Allama Haithami remarks that the narrators of this hadith are sahih (correct). Imam Hakim labeled this narration as sahih (correct) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim.
