Lying on Hajj Accreditation Form

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by CouncilofUlama.co.za

Q: I went for Hajj in 1994. I was 12 years old and Baaligh (mature). I would like to apply for accreditation to go with my husband next year. Many people are telling me not to put on SAHUC’s form that I had gone before. They say that if I write on the form that I went for Hajj previously I will only get 80 points and I will not be able to get accreditation. Am I allowed to lie on the form?

A:You are not allowed to lie on the form. If Allah Ta’ala accepts your labbaik you will go.
