Q: Can a person apply surma to the eyes of the mayyit (deceased)?
A: One should not apply surma to the eyes of the mayyit (deceased) just as one should not comb the hair of the mayyit (deceased) because by doing this one would be beautifying the deceased and they do not need to be beautified.
