Salam, a male member of my Family has had a dream that has left them rather concerned. In the dream my family member was visited by a friend who brought bags of raw meat both red meat and chicken and left them on the doorstep. The member of my family said they then looked at the person with a bad look and then drove off. If you could please interpret this dream I would appreciate it. Salam
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
To see raw meat in a dream usually represents some negative connotation[1]. However, the dream your family member saw was from Satan. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
A good dream that comes true is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan[2].
In order to avoid any possible calamity in the future, you should consider the following narration:
Prophet Muhammad (peace and salutations be upon him) said:
ما من عبد يقول في صباح كل يوم ومساء كل ليلة:
بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم، ثلاث مرات، لم يضره شيء
A believer who reads the following three times in the morning and evening of each day will not be harmed by anything:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِه شَيْءٌ فِي الأرْضِ ولا فِي السَّماءِ وهُوَ السَّمِيعُ العَلِيم
Transliteration: Bismil laa hil lazee laa yadurru ma`a ismi hi shay`un fil ardhi wa laa fis samaa`i wa hu was samee`ul aleem
Translation: In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the sky can harm. And He is the Hearing and Knowing’[3]
