What is the ruling of clipping nails and removing unwanted hair for a menstruating woman?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by AskOurImam.com

As-Salaamualaikum. What is the ruling of clipping nails and removing unwanted hair for a woman in the state of haidh?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

A woman in her menses should clip her nails and remove unwanted hair if the duration of not cutting exceeds forty days or if the nails are so long that they may harm herself or her child[1].

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
