Surah Ikhlaas When Entering the Home

Q: I heard that if a person recites Surah Ikhlaas when entering the home, he  receives increase/baraka in sustenance. Is there any truth to this from any authentic source? Can it be practiced upon as a Sunnah? 

 

A: This is mentioned in some of the books of hadith, though the chain of transmission appears to be weak. In such a case you may observe this practice for the purpose of barkaat, but do not regard it sunnat
