Is it shirk to say it is the karam of nabi s.a.w. on receiving some good news?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

my question is whether it is shirk to say it is the karam of nabi s.a.w. on receiving some good news? also what is the ruling if someone says something which is kufr but he says it should be interpreted differently.?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykumwa-rahmatullāhiwa-barakātuh.

1)     When one receives good news he should attribute the good to Allah  Ta’ala and praise Allah Ta’ala with statements like Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah) Rasulullah Sallalahu Alihi Wasallam is indeed Karam. The statement in the reference does not constitute Shirk if one believes all good is ultimately from Allah alone.

2)     What is the statement you refer to and what is the interpretation?

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
