I have a question based on a situation where the man and woman has both commit zina and she is trying to repent from it. However she’s always had intentions of being married to him but it has now come to show that he is already married but is unhappy (so he claims). This had become a game of lies and cheating and she needs answers and no body can seem to give them.
My question is..
What should be done now for the better of the both of them ?

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is true that nobody seems to have an answer for the woman in reference. The reason is that she alone has the answers for her predicament.
Harām actions always have negative consequences and deprives one of peace and happiness. Shaytān takes advantage of the weakness of the nafs and leads a person deeper into following one’s nafs. The state of confusion of the woman in reference is clearly the consequences of engaging in harām and following her nafs with the false hope of marrying the man. The simple solution is to make tawbah and completely abstain from having contact with the man in reference. She should not entertain any false hopes of marrying the man. It is such false hopes that leads one to harām and injure the nafs. The woman in reference should value herself like a pearl. She should not throw herself before unworthy men. If someone values her and appreciates her, he should respectfully propose to her for marriage. This is in keeping with her value, respect, dignity and honour.
