I have received a message about this Durood Sharif that whoever recite this Durood during rain, a NEKI will be rewarded against each drop of rain. i want to verify the authenticity.

Respected mufti sahab! would you please tell me the authentiity of the following Durood Sharif,

“Allahuma Salli Ala Sayyidina Muhammadin Wa’Ala Aali Muhammadin Bi Adadi Qataraatil Amtaar.”

We cannot locate the Hadith and therefore cannot comment regarding its authenticity. However, the wordings of the Durood are appropriate.
