I would like to know is it permissible or what is the sharia rule regarding women’s dua in congregation

In a monthly Islamic gathering (or Talim) constitutes of about 15 or more women, one woman make dua after discussion with raising hand and other says ameen. I would like to know is it permissible or what is the sharia rule regarding women’s dua in such kind of congregation?

Answer

Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabrakatuh,

To make dua in congregation where one makes dua and others say Aameen to the dua is permissible on condition such a practice is not regarded as compulsory.
