There is a couple who have been married and gone to haj. But before the marriagethey were not good muslimsand they were having relation ship before wed lock. however they repented and got married. but when they got married the girl was in her menses. also they are not sure that they had not been sexually active for more than three periods (3 thuhur). Is there marriage valid? Is there any time line for them to wait before marrige? They are very desperate and very sad of what they have done. Please help them.

It is encouraging to note that the couple repented from their sin and got married. May Allah bless them in their marriage.
Marriage in the state of menses is valid even if the spouses did not get intimate for any period of time.
