on release of gas wudu has to be repeated,whereas no act of wudu is concerenced with the area where the gas is released from, then what is the basis of repeating wudu?
Answer
Islamic law is not based on logical reasoning alone. There are a number of
laws in Islam that don’t make sense to us. We are compelled to submit to
whatever has been ordained by the Qur’aan and Sunnah whether it makes sense
to us or not. Our understanding is limited upto a certain point.
