I gambled in past and now I don’t know what to do with the money. I will repent to Allah and ensure that it won’t happen again. But should I throw away the money? or should I give it to charity?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I realize I have comitted a sin. I would like your advice on what I should do now.

Answer

The amount earned through gambling is Haraam (strictly prohibited). In
principle, Haraam monies should be given away as charity to the poor and
needy.
