Can one keep his eyes closed during Salaat for greater concentration (or atleast during the Qiraat part)? Also, can one repeat the Qiraat silently after the Imam, when praying in Jamaat?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org
Answer

1. It is Makrooh to close the eyes during Salaat. In order to concentrate,
the eyes may be semiclosed.
2. According to the Hanafi Madhab, it is not permissible for a Muqtadi
(perform following the Imaam) to read behind the Imaam in the standing
posture.
