What is the authenticity of the following Hadeeth and please check if it is in this Kitaab, (Targeeb Volume 3, page 395)?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Whoever instills happiness into the heart of a believer, Allah creates an Angel from that happiness who worships Allah and declares the Oneness of Allah. When this person is placed into his grave, the Angel approaches him asking, ‘Do you not recognise me?’ The person responds by asking, ‘Who are you?’ The angel replies, ‘I am the happiness which you instilled in the heart of so and so believer. Now I will be your comforter in distress, and I will keep you steadfast in answering the questions (of the afterlife). I will come to you on the Day of Qiyamah and intercede for you in the Court of your Rabb and show you your home in Paradise.”

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The ḥadīth in reference is mentioned by Allāmah Munḍhirī Rahimahullāh in his book Al Targhīb Wal Tarhīb.[1] This ḥadīth is unreliable due to an extremely weak chain[2] and due to a discrepancy (Fi matnihi nakarah) in the text of the ḥadīth, as stated by Allāmah Munḍhirī Rahimahullāh.[3]
However, the meaning of the ḥadīth is substantiated from other sources as can be understood from the following ḥadīth:
المسلم أخو المسلم لا يظلمه ولا يسلمه، ومن كان في حاجة أخيه كان الله في حاجته، ومن فرج عن مسلم كربة، فرج الله عنه كربة من كربات يوم القيامة، ومن ستر مسلما ستره الله يوم القيامة (البخاري)
“A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection.“

وَعَن جَعْفَر بن مُحَمَّد عَن أَبِيه عَن جده رَضِي الله عَنْهُم قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول الله صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم مَا أَدخل رجل على مُؤمن سُرُورًا إِلَّا خلق الله عز وَجل من ذَلِك السرُور ملكا يعبد الله عز وَجل ويوحده فَإِذا صَار العَبْد فِي قَبره أَتَاهُ ذَلِك السرُور فَيَقُول أما تعرفنِي فَيَقُول لَهُ من أَنْت فَيَقُول أَنا السرُور الَّذِي أدخلتني على فلَان أَنا الْيَوْم أونس وحشتك وألقنك حجتك وأثبتك بالْقَوْل الثَّابِت وأشهدك مشاهدك يَوْم الْقِيَامَة وأشفع لَك إِلَى رَبك وأريك مَنْزِلك من الْجنَّة

مُحَمد بْن مجيب الثقفي كوفي. حَدَّثَنَا ابن حماد، حَدَّثَنا عباس قال مُحَمد بْن مجيب كذاب.وفي موضعٍ آخر مُحَمد بْن مجيب كَانَ جار عباد بْن العوام وكان كذَّابًا عدو الله. قَالَ الشَّيْخُ: وَمُحمد بْنُ مُجِيبٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ كَثِيرُ حَدِيثٍ وَيُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمد بِأَشْيَاءٍ غَيْرِ مَحْفُوظَةٍ
