Assalamu Alaikum WaRahmatullahi WaBarakatuhu,
I had some questions about niqab. There are two types of niqabs nowadays. One is the half niqab where everything from the nose below is covered and the foreheard and eyebrows are exposed. Then there is the full niqab where only the eyes can be seen. I have 2 questions regarding this:
1. Can a female wear a half niqab where her forehead and eyebrows are exposed?
2. Is it okay if the eyebrows are exposed when wearing a niqab? (Whether it be a full or half niqab)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, it is compulsory for a woman to cover her face.1 The eyes may be left uncovered due to the need of seeing the road.2 Hence, it is not permissible to wear the half niqab wherein the forehead and eyebrows are exposed.
