Correct Aqeedah whilst using verses of Quran or duas as wazeefahs

There are so many books about wazeefaas on Quraany verses and surah where a human could achieve certain things by reciting them like molana Thanvi has wrote a book called (AAMAAL-E-QURAANI), Molana anzar shah kashmeeri has wrote a book called (GANJEENA-E-ASRAAR).

where it’s written that Ayaat-e- Kursy is for protection, Surah Fatehah is for Shifa etc.

Also about different Quaraani verses and duaas where it says that if you read it 70 time for 40 days (Or something similar with different numbers and days), you’ll have barakah in your wealth etc.

In all these cases when someone decides to use the Quaraan or any type of dua as wazeefah for any purposes, what is the right believe (Aqeedah) one muslim should have? as we know, everything happens with the command of Allah, his the one who gives cure, his the one who gives barakah,  and his the one who protects from evil.

Also when someone wears a taweez for cure or protection which contains Quraany verses or any type of dua, what is the right believe (Aqeedah) one muslim should have?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is our belief that Allah is Faail Mutlaq (Actual Doer) of everything. Nothing comes into existence or prospers without the will and permission of Allah. We are living in this world of means (Darul Asbaab). We adopt means to fulfil our needs. However in doing so, we believe Allah is the actual Doer of what we wish to achieve. If Allah puts affects in the means that we adopt, then it will be successful. The success is not attributed to the means we adopt. [1]

Accordingly, the various Aayats of the Quran are tried and tested means. If one adopts any prescription of A’maale Quraan to fulfil ones needs, then he may do so. The affect of the means is decreed by Allah. There is no doubt that the various verses of the Quran as a means of fulfilling ones wishes is most affective in relation to other means. If a person’s wishes are not fulfilled, he will still get rewarded for reciting the Quran and expressing confidence in the Quran.

وَالتَّمِيمَةُ يقَالُ إِنَّهَا خَرَزَةٌ كَانُوا يَتَعَلَّقُونَهَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهَا تَدْفَعُ عَنْهُمُ الْآفَاتِ وَقَدْ يُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ذَلِكَ وَمَا أَشْبَهَهُ مِنَ النَّهْيِ وَالْكَرَاهِيَةِ فِيمَنْ تَعَلَّقَهَا وَهُوَ يَرَى تَمَامَ الْعَافِيَةِ وَزَوَالَ الْعِلَّةِ مِنْهَا عَلَى مَا كَانَ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَصْنَعُونَ , فَأَمَّا مَنْ تَعَلَّقَهَا مُتَبَرِّكًا بِذِكْرِ اللهِ تَعَالَى فِيهَا وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنْ لَا كَاشِفَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَلَا دَافِعَ عَنْهُ سِوَاهُ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِهَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ

جن روایات میں تعویذ گنڈے کی ممانعت ہے ان میں الفاظ صاف ہیں کہ حر مرض میں تعویذ گنڈے کے پیچھے پڑ جاۓ اور یہ سمجھے کہ ہر مرض کا علاج تعویذ ہے اور یہی تعویذ مرض کے لئے بذات خود موثر ہے، الله پر توکل نہ ہو تو ایسے عقیدے کے ساتھ تعویذ کا استعمال منع ہے
