Virtues for visiting the grave of Sayyiduna Husain (R)

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Are there any virtues for visiting the grave of Hussain Radiallahuanhu as a sunni?

Answer

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

At the outset, the whereabouts of the grave of Sayyiduna Husain (Radhiyallaahu ‘anh) is not known with certainty. Nevertheless, even if his resting place was known, there is no specific virtue in visiting his grave (Radhiyallaahu ‘anh). All the virtues quoted in regards to visiting his grave are fabrications of the Shi’ah (qabbahallaahu wujoohahum).

And Allaah Ta’aala Knows Best.
