Is it permissible for a muslim to be interested in another religion whilst being a muslim. Can any person belong to two religions?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org
Answer

Islam is to express absolute submission to the Orders of Allah and His Rasul (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) as espounded in the Qur’aan and Hadith.

There is no choice of another religion besides Islam whatsoever. Allah Ta’ala says in the noble Qur’aan, ?Verily (the accepted) religion in the sight of Allah is Islam?. In another place, Allah Ta’ala states, ?And whosoever searches for another religion besides Islam, it will not be accepted from him?.
