Is working as a Payroll officer , managining salaries of staff in a government org (under ministry of commerce n finance) Which makes it 20 to 25% profit frm interest and rest 75% profit from non.interest trade.
So what will be the ruling on job of payroll officer who has no direct dealing with Riba. Is this job halal?
Note: its a sovereign wealth fund organization to manage coutry’s surplus amount through oil gas etc

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible to work as a payroll officer for such an organization.[1][2][3][4][5]

[1] غالب مال المهدي إن حلالا لا بأس بقبول هديته وأكل ماله ما لم يتعين أنه من حرام
الفتاوى البزازية (478/2) دار الكتب العلمية
[2] أهدى إلى رجل شيئا أو أضافه إن كان غالب ماله من الحلال فلا بأس إلا أن يعلم بأنه حرام، فإن كان الغالب هو الحرام ينبغي أن لا يقبل الهدية، ولا يأكل الطعام إلا أن يخبره بأنه حلال ورثته أو استقرضته من رجل، كذا في الينابيع الفتاوى الهندية (342/5)
وإن كان غالب مال المهدي من الحلال لا بأس بأن يقبل الهدية ويأكل ما لم يتبين عنده أنه حرام لأن أموال الناس لا تخلوا عن قليل حرام فيعتبر الغالب فتاوى قاضي خان (244/3)
