Will Rasulullah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ intercede for me if I visit his grave?

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Is there any hadith that if one visits the roza-e-pak of Rasuallah (saw) in Medina then Rasuallah (saw) will do shifat for him on Day of Judgement.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The following is narrated in a hadith:

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:  «مَنْ زَارَ قَبْرِي وَجَبَتْ لَهُ شَفَاعَتِي»

Ibn Umar (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Nabi (ﷺ) said: “Whoever visits my grave, my intercession is incumbent for him.[1][2]
