I am a women following Islam thoroughly married to a man before 5 years. We have very less physical relationship as he is out of city for his job. When he come on leave he maintain distance from me form last 5 years approximately. When I recently investigate about the same I found out that my husband is a gay and he has physical relation with a male. He is involve in this practice since childhood as mentioned by him. I was shocked and have a discussion with him, I have tried to explain him the consequences and the punishments in Islam for his sinful act but he is careless not ready to avoid relationship with male. I also inform my sister in law. We have taken him to doctor. After examining doctor said he will admit him in hospital and make his treatment for three month continuously but he ran away from there. When we reach home my in laws have decided not to go to doctor as this case may be open to all relatives and neighbor. They fear that they will lose their respect and pride in society. They have decided to keep calm and quiet until they find the proper solution. Now it’s been more a month they have been losing interest in this topic. Now I am much depressed and want your suggestion in the lights of Islam for the following cases.
1) What Islam Suggest for a women to do in the above condition.
2) Is Divorced is permissible form a women side.
3) If Divorced is not permissible form a women side then how should I leave with him? Request you to please guide me how do I go ahead.
