Removing filth

1) Please explain if the following steps to remove filth from floor / hard surfaces suffice.

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate

(1) Water must flow over the surface. Mopping and wiping is not sufficient to remove the filth. The practical way to remove filth from the floor is to first remove all traces of the filth by scrubbing it using any necessary cleaning agents and wiping everything away with a cloth. After this, you only need to pour water over the surface to purify it. If all the traces of the filth have been removed, this water will not become affected by filth by pouring it over the surface and you can quickly wipe it up with a cloth or a mop to avoid damaging floor.

(2) The water is pure and does not render anything else filthy. However, it is no longer purifying and cannot be used to purify anything else.

And Allah knows best.

Hamza
