According to Imam Al-Shafi’i, should we send salutations on the prophet peace be upon him at the end of our tashshud? If yes, can you please quote the procedure and the words to be said.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Yes, we are required to pray for the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) at the end of the prayer. Without doing this, the prayer is invalid. Please check the links below:
