Assalamualaiykum,
Dear Respected Maulana,
My father cannot fast due to illness. How much money should he give in Fidya for each fast.
Someone told my father it is £6 for each Fast. Could you kindly please explain.

£6 is too much. Who told you that? You have to give the amount of sadaqatul fitr. Check out sadaqatul fitr in your local masjid timetable. It should be 2 to 3 pounds. That is the amount to be given for every roza.
