Supplications in a room where the toilet exists

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi

Question

One performing ablution in the bathroom (where the toilet exists), should he recite the supplications of ablution or not?

Answer

Yes, if the toilet is clean and the basin has been flushed, then one is allowed to read the duas. However if there is filth and smell, then one should not take Allah’s name in a dirty place, It’s highly disrespectful.
