Question

Assalaamualaykum,

  1. You stated that alcohol in food is normally artificial can you elaborate and is this all the alcohol types in food or certain types
  2. Can you present to me the answers to Brelvis and their evidences or a book in which their side of the story is presented because I have many family members who are Brelvis

Answer

  1. If the synthetic alcohol is such that there is no trace of it left in the food then it will be permissible.  If any trace of it remains, then it will not be permissible.
  2. Answers are in Maulana Yusuf Ludhyanwi’s book “Ikhtilafe ummat aur sirate mustaqeem”.  It’s been translated into English as well.
