For couple years, I am in practice of keeping Nafl Fast on Mondays. Today (Monday7/02/07) unintentionally I had sexual intercourse with my wife after fajr payers. I break my fast in the morning, because I was scared. Please advise, is my Fast required compensation and what should I have to recompensate with this mistake. By fasting additional days or feeding poor people at home country. Please advise

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

Breaking a voluntary fast doesn’t require expiation (kaffara) of any kind, and isn’t sinful if there is a reason.
