Does Hajj funded by parents fulfill one’s obligation?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam,

Yes, this will fulfill the children’s obligation to perform Hajj: it is only obligatory if one has the means, but if someone else pays for one’s Hajj, it is valid and one’s obligation is fulfilled.

See see works on Hajj in the Files section at www.groups.yahoo.com/group/hanafi

And Allah alone gives success.

Wassalam,

Faraz Rabbani
