Women Shaving?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by SunniPath Answer Service Team

Can women shave the hair of their arms and legs as I have heard it is not permissible, but some say that removing it is okay, but without shaving i.e. using another method e.g. waxing?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Wa Alaykum Assalam wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu,

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful & Compassionate

One may remove such hair to the best of their ability, without risking harm to one’s body. This may be done by any conventional means, including shaving.
