Previously it was worse; I have to change my dress five to six times a day for prayers (Salat) and I often urinated on bed at night, but now by the grace of Allah now I never urinate on bed. But the above problem is still there. I always miss my Fajar (Dawn) prayers. Now I am taking some ayurvedic medicine. I also want to ask that whenever I urinate in washroom I feel that some splash of urine has been collected on my dress. Please suggest me the way of urination how to do it properly without dirtying the cloth.
Whenever I pray (Salat) different kinds of thought comes to my mind (Satan appears). But I try concentrate on my salat and sometime I pray very heedfully and try to concentrate on it.
I also want to ask you that please let me know good Qur?anic verses and duas (Wazaif) to recite for the above problems and some Qur?anic verses and duas (Wazaif) so that my sins will be forgiven by Allah, insha-Allah.
Please pray for me and remember me in your prayers.
Thanking You.

In the name of Allah the All- Knowing, the Wise

Dear Brother in Islam your question contains four different parts which are:

1. Urine drops continuing to flow after one has relived ones self
2. Thoughts which pertain to drops of urine falling onto the cloths and how to perform correct istinjah (bodily cleanliness).
3. Thoughts from Shataan afflicting the mind whilst in Salaah
4. Wazaaif for Forgiveness

Regarding the first part of your question, a person who has an illness due to which he has nonstop drops of urine or other such impure fluids leaving the body for a period which comprises of one full Salaah time is called ?Mazoor in the Shariah?.

A Mazoor is someone for whom the drops of urine etc do now stop for that much time that he can perform a complete Wudhu and read one Salaah. The ?massaail? and ruling for a Mazoor is that he will read his Salaah even with the drops of urine coming out and falling onto his clothes. Even though under normal circumstances his clothes would become Najis (unclean and impure) however this is not applicable to a Mazoor. He may change he cloths if he so wishes but they will immediately come into contact again with the urine drops. Hence the Shariha gives him that leniency to read his salaah in that state.

The Mazoor person will have to perform a new Wudhu for each Salaah. This is a must for him to do. With this Wudhu he may perform which ever Ibadaah he wishers to during the time of that Salaah. The urine drops will not invalidate that Wudhu. It is only the time of the Salaah to elapse that will break the Wudhu and for the next Salaah time but he will have to renew his Wudhu.

Hence if you fall into that above descriptions then you are you are a ?Mazoor? under Islamic Shariah.

From reading your question you say that you have sought medical help for your condition. Inshallah I hope this is of some benefit Ameen.

One or two drops leaving the body as irregular times, does not deem a person as ?Mazoor?. But this in my humble opinion is a case of performing correct ?Istibrah? after you have relived yourself. This I will discuss later Inshallah.

The second part of your question says that you think or feel that some drops of urine have fallen onto your clothes. The Sunnah way to relive oneself is to sit down or squat. This will minimize the possible of urine falling onto the clothes.

Further to this the performing ?Istibrah? will also help to eliminate splash onto your clothes. It is common that after a man has relived him self that a few drops of urine remain inside the body, even though they are not in the bladder. And it is these drops which will out at a later time with least expected without the person’s control. This is best understood with the help of an example. When a hose pile is turned off even though the water stops flowing out from the end of the nozzle it is obvious that some water has remained on the inside of the hose pipe. This water will come out only when the hose is tilted and rolled up. A similar situation can present to itself to a male after urination.

Some examples of Istibrah? which have being mentioned in the kitaabs to of how someone can ensure that no drops of urine remain have being mentioned for your benefit:

1. That person stands and sits a few times in order to put some pressure onto the stomach area which in turn will contract the muscles to squeeze out any remaining drops.

2. A person splashes that area of the genitals with cold water, again this will help contract those muscles and help remove any remaining drops.

3. For some people the above is archived my coughing.

The simple rule to remember about ?Istibrah? is that it is done according to what suits oneself. There are many more methods which have not being mentioned but can work for the individual.

For you benefit some Ahadith have being given which speak of the punishments for not taking heed of urine drops.

Rasulullah [sallallaahu alayhi wasallam] said, ?Abstain from urine for verily most of the punishments in the grave are due to that (dropping of urine).? (Tirmidhi)

Rasulullah [sallallaahu alayhi wasallam] once passed two graves in which the inmates were being punished. One was a person who should not exercise precaution during relieving himself (Bukhari).

In the third part of your question, you say that your mind wonders in Salaah. This is a trick of Shataan and the nafs. The only way around this is to concentrate in your Salaah whole heartedly.

In the well known Hadith of Jibrail, Rasulullah [sallallaahu alayhi wasallam] was asked as to what is ?Ihsan?. He replied ?that you worship Allah as though you are seeing him and if this is not possible then you are aware that he is watching you.?
(Bukhari)

Before standing up for Salaah, try to deal with all minor or urgent matters which demand your attention. Even if it is something like eating, if you pray while you are hunger then you will ofter loose concentratin in your Salaah due to the hunger and will try to rush the Salaah. And when you do eat don’t eat so much that you feel lazy in your Salaah. Other useful points to keep in mind are:

? Think of the Salaah you are reading as if it were the last Salaah of your life.

? Focus your mind and heart to Allah as the Hadith above mentions. This is what we should aim for in all aspects of our Ibadaah including Salaah.

? Perform your ablutions well, paying due care and attention.

? Picture the scene of Qiyamah when people will be lined up into two groups, one ordained for Jannah, and another for Hell. Keep hope that you will be with the group destined to Jannah but fear that you may be with the Latter

For the last part of your question there are many dua’s and ways related in the Quran and the Ahadith which show Man the way to forgiveness. In a nut shell Taubah (repentance) must come from the heart in total humility. The Dua which Hadhrat Yunus Alaihis Salam made while in the belly of the huge fish was:

Lailaha illa anta subhanak inne quntu minaz zaalimeen?

?There is no Deity except you verily I am from those who have oppressed?.

In conclusion, I will say that one who should make Dua and to Allah to grant me and you the true the joy of concentrating in our Ibadaah and protection against and the Muslim nations from the evils of Shataan and the nafs Ameen.
