Rizk being extended after marriage

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: A brother is struggling with a job. I have always been favoured by Allah Ta’ala. As soon as I got married my rizk was granted and as my family grew so Allah Ta’ala increased my rizk. This is anecdotal evidence from my experience. Based on this can I encourage the brother to marry and in turn his rizk will be extended?

What is the sunnatullah (sunnah of Allah SWT)? Please explain.

Bismillaah

A:

1. The rizq being extended is a fact, but exactly how it happens is known best by Allah Ta`ala. You may advise him that he should trust in Allah and marry, and insha-Allah with time, based on his good niyyat and actions Allah will grant him barkat and prosperity.

2. Sunnatullah refers to the way Allah deals with situations and people.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
