What to recite at the grave side

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What should one recite at a deceased persons grave as a means of thawaab for them if one cannot recite surah yaseen?

Bismillaah

A: You may read any portion of the Qur’aan or any du`aa for the maghfirat and forgiveness for the inmate of the grave. Reciting Surah Ikhlaas 11 times is recommended. Similarly Surah Zilzaal and Takaathur are also recommended.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
