Leaving clean clothes on the treadmill

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My question is that I had washed my clothes and they were left on the treadmill to dry. Shoes that are worn outside are used on the treadmill. I had forgotten the fact that shoes are put on it so I had left my clothes on it to dry. My question is that are those clothes napaak or can I consider them to be paak and wear them for salaah?

Bismillaah

A: If there was no visible impurity on the treadmill, then regard your clothes to be paak.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
