Giving a colleague an English translation of the Qur’an

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: A work colleague of mine has asked me for an English version of the Quraan, solely for the purpose of reading it, am I allowed to give this to him?

Bismillaah

A: You rather give him the book “What is Islam?” by Moulana Manzoor Nu`mani (rahmatullahi alaih).

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
