Q: I have not recited Qur’an shareef since the last five years. I want to know is it a big sin and what are the benefits of praying Qur’an in this world and aakhira?

Bismillaah

A: To leave the Qur’aan is about the greatest sin and to learn the Qur’aan Shareef and to teach it is about the greatest virtue. The recitation of every alphabet you will get at least ten rewards.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
