Protection from nazar and evil eye

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I just wanted to ask you one simple question and looking for answer, Alhandulillah 15 years our family was 100% ok and now on some occasion I think we have some evil eye. I recited all the surah like 4 Qualls specifically surah Falaq. It was ok for the time being then we started again going on extreme for non issues and the issues are not related to us at all. It may be Jaadu or evil eye but i am not sure – Please advice me what to do.

Bismillaah

A: A Mu’min, in whichever condition he may be, should turn to Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى). The solutions of all problems lie in the hands of Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى). In order for one to receive the mercy of Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) and barkat in his life, one should ensure that he is leading a life according to the Sunnah and not displeasing Allah Ta’ala at any time. Be conscious of observing purdah, guarding the eyes and the tongue and performing the five daily Salaah on it’s prescribed time. Recite one thousand one hundred times يَا لَطِيْفُ after Esha Salaah with reciting eleven times durood shareef before and after. Similarly make it a habit of reciting the four quls and ayatul kursi after the five daily Salaah and before retiring to bed. This has been proven effective in saving one from jinnat, jaadu, evil eye, etc. Allocate a certain time for reciting Qur’an daily. Commence ta’leem of Fazaail-e-Amaal and Fazaail-e-Sadaqaat daily with your entire family and engage in collective dua. May Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) assist you and remove your difficulties.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
