Ready for Marriage but Afraid to Disappoint My Parents

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I feel I am ready for marriage however I do not know how to tell my parents I fear having a haraam relationship.

Bismillaah

A: The Hadith teaches us that when a boy and girl reaches marriageable age and they are able to get married, then they should get married as marriage safeguards one from falling into sin. You should explain to your parents that you have the need to get married.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
