Motivations behind young scholars using microphones for Salah broadcast

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it correct to surmise that young scholars using microphone for Salah and allowing their Salah to be broadcast in the homes for ladies to hear may be motivated by show, particularly in Fajr where the number of saffs are few and there appears to be no obvious need for microphone? If not show, what else could a reasonable rationale be?

Bismillaah

A: If there is no need to use the microphone, it is better not to use it. However if it was used despite there not being a need, the Salaah will still be valid. As far as the intention of those who are using it, then it is not our place to judge peoples intentions and nor will be accountable for it.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
