Making an effort to learn how to recite the Qur’an in Arabic

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My language is urdu. If I read the urdu translation of the Qur’an, is it still necessary for me to read it also in Arabic or is the urdu translation enough?

Bismillaah

A: You should make a concerted effort to learn how to recite the Qur’an in Arabic.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
