Moving one’s toes in Salaah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I have these doubts all the time. I know too much movement breaks salaah. I have a habit of curling my toes of both my feet, sometimes not ob purpose, sometimes consciously. I am not moving them so much. Just slightly. Will this break the salaah?

Bismillaah

A: The Salaah is valid, however at the time of Salaah one should be completely calm and focused towards Allah Ta’ala. Apart from the postures of Salaah, one should refrain from any other action or movement as this affects one’s devotion and concentration and goes against the Aadaab of the Salaah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
