Not going to a house where a child is born

Q: I wanted to ask, I’ve got an auntie who doesn’t go to a house where a child is born or where someone dies for 40 days. She believes if she goes where a child is born the mother of the child or the child will be ill is that in Islam or in the quran?

A: This has no basis in Islam.
