Naming a shop or business “LIMRA”

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it permissible to keep the shop name or business name as “LIMRA”. More people are using this name which is short form of “La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasoolullah” (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).

Bismillaah

A: This type of abbreviation is not at all liked.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
