Taking a loan from the bank on interest

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My company is giving me a benefit for house allowance. I can take the loan from the bank to purchase a house for me and what ever the interest I have to pay to the back will be paid by my company. It is being called an interest free loan by my company. Please tell me is it right to get it or not?

Bismillaah

A: If this is interest-based then it is not right. If the company can give you a loan directly without any conditions of interest then it is permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
