Menopause and Haidh: Red Stains and Uncertainty – What to Do?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am going through menopause so I do not have haidh. Two days ago (Monday) I noticed a red stain at fajr time and was completely clear for two days. I put this down to illness. Today (Wednesday) I have completed umrah, hair trimmed etc. however I have noticed a red stain again. However I am still not sure if this is haidh. What should I do? Please let me know ASAP.

Bismillaah

A: If you bleed again within ten days then it will be counted as haidh.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
