Musaafir intending to stay for more than 16 days

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: When traveling for 2 nights and you pray as a musafir then you realise that your staying longer than 16 days. Do you have repeat the namaas you missed during the first two days?

Bismillaah

A: If initially you were a musaafir and later on you changed your intention and decided to stay for sixteen days (after the two days), then you do not have to make qadha for the qasr Salaah your performed during the two days. However since you no longer remain a musaafir, you will perform full namaaz during the sixteen days.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
