Eating or lifting one’s feet of the ground in Salaah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: To pray Salaah without making intention, to eat during Salah, to lift your feet during Salah, to lift your hands and to make an expression which makes a person looking think that you are not in Salah all make your Salah invalid. If I have done any of these actions whilst not knowing that these break Salah, do I have to do Qadha for them?

Bismillaah

A: If you had eaten during your Salaah or lifted your feet of the ground for the time it would take to recite Subhaanallah three times, your Salaah will be invalid. You will have to repeat the Salaah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
