Speaking while the Azaan is being called out

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it permissible to speak about Deen to a fellow Muslim in the Masjid whilst Adhaan is going on?

A: At the time of Azaan, one should not engage in any worldly talk, instead one should remain silent and reply to the Azaan. However if one is explaining an aspect of Deen to someone e.g. a Deeni mas’alah, it will be permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
