Reciting duas aloud in Salaah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: In prayer, if one recites the attahiyat (or any other portion of the prayer besides the recitation of the Qur’an) audibly, is one required to perform Sajdah Sahw?

A: One should not recite Tashahud (attahiyyaat) or any of the duas of Salaah aloud. However, if one had recited the Tashahud or any of the duas aloud then Sajdah Sahw will not be waajib.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
