Getting bitten in one’s sleep

Q: Today I was sleeping in bed, and then my hand went down, it just slipped kind of. But then I felt that someone bit me really hard. I turned the lights on, but there was nothing. My finger was also bleeding. Why did this happen to me? There was no one there.

A: Perhaps it was an insect bite (e.g. spider, etc.). Recite the four quls and Aayatul Kursi after your five daily Salaah and before retiring to bed. Allah Ta’ala will save you from all harm.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
